What is reflexology?
If you haven't tried reflexology before, you might ask if a foot treatment can really make a difference to your well-being. Many people come back for regular treatments when they experience, for example, better sleep, an improvement in mood, and more energy.
Whether your goal is to reduce tension, improve an aspect of your health, or just take some time out to relax and unwind, the only way to find out if reflexology is for you is to try it!
Reflexology is a safe, non-invasive foot treatment which works to support your physical, mental and emotional well-being. It works on the premise that there are specific points on the feet that correspond to different parts of the body. We all get a little out of balance, due to stress, lifestyle, illness, etc., and these imbalances can be detected in our foot reflexes. By using specific techniques to apply pressure to these reflex points any blockages or imbalances in the corresponding areas of the body are corrected.
Simply put, when our body is in balance its natural ability to heal and repair is promoted, and we function better. With the mind-body connection being so powerful, when our body is working well, our mind is too.
Benefits of reflexology:
Holistic Massage
Holistic massage is a treatment which aims to relax, revive and heal the body and looks to address and balance the person as a whole. Using manual hands-on movements and manipulation of the soft tissues and muscles in the body, massage works to promote healing and enhance a person’s overall well-being.
This is ideal for someone looking to relax and feel more grounded and at the same time reduce pain and discomfort while improving overall health and well-being.
